PokerStars Launch Their Biggest Marketing Campaign In History
PokerStars launched a new advertising campaign on Facebook this weekend which is the largest ever conducted by the online poker giant. With the help of their two global football superstars, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. they are hoping to appeal to the over 157 million combined fans of these football legends. With Facebook’s sophisticated targeting tools PokerStars is aiming to engage both sports and gaming fans and are looking to maximize the impact of their campaign. Ronaldo has the bragging rights of being Facebook’s most popular public figure with over 104 million fans with Neymar having 53 million.
The social and fun aspect of online poker will feature in videos with the two superstars and will be feature on their respective official Facebook pages prior to being broadcast globally on television. In addition to the TV launch PokerStars will also be running the “Dream Team Collection” that will feature online poker challenges and puzzles incorporating the pair. Players will get the chance to win prizes including the $1 million grand prize.
