New Jersey Online Gaming Revenues Continue Increasing In October
The state of New Jersey continues to show positive growth with their online gambling revenues. Following last month’s increase, the Garden State recorded a 36% gain in October form the same period last year.
Online gaming revenues amounted to $12.9 million from the $9.5 million last year and an increase from the $12 million in September. The leaders in the market remain the same usual players with the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa generating $3.5 million and Caesars Interactive Entertainment earned $2.9 million.
Total online gaming win for the year to date is up 17.6% to $121.6 million from the same period last year. This month’s revenues are the second highest ever recorded in New Jersey and only just missed the March record of this year by $300k.
Despite a positive end in the online gaming sector, the overall gambling market in New Jersey went do by 1.3% year-on-year to reach $204.5 million. In terms of land casinos the Golden Nugget earned $2.7 million and Resorts Digital Gaming $900k which was the first monthly decline since their spring launch. The Tropicana generated $2.85 million.
