New Jersey Online Gambling Revenues Continue Upward Trend
The online gambling market in New Jersey continues its steady improvement with October revenues generating $20.5m. This is an improvement from 23.4% from the same period last year and is slightly more that September’s $20.4m. This also marks the eighth consecutive month of online gambling revenues exceeding the $20m in the Garden State.
The figures released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) show that the majority of revenues came from the casino vertical which were up 30.5% to $18.63m. Online poker continues its downtrend with $1.93m.
The overall total online gaming revenue to date is up 26.7% from the same period last year to $204.2m of which the casino vertical increased nearly one third to $183.7m. Again online poker revenues were down more than 8% to $20.5n.
The top performers remain largely the same. With the Golden Nugget taking top position with $6.14 million which is closer to the $6.2m record performance set in July.
The Borgata took second spot with $4.18m, third sport was Resorts Digital Gaming with revenues of $3.47m, Fourth place was Caesar Interactive Entertainment New Jersey who generated $3.31m.
