New Jersey Continues To Break Online Gaming Revenues In March
New Jersey continues its upward trend for online gambling with yet another record broken in the month of March. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) released the latest figures on Thursday and reported an all-time high of $25.6m generated in online revenues for the month of March. Thus represents a 17.6% increase year-on-year. The $20m mark is now routine as March marked the 13th consecutive month that this mark has been reached.
As expected the online casino vertical makes up most of the revenues with $23.6m while online poker still continues to lose momentum with another decrease of 12.7% to $1.97m.
Once again the Golden Nugget is the standout performer with a new record of $8.65m in March to a 40% year-on-year increase. The previous record was in February with $7.88m.
The second place was the Borgata which won $4.6m which was only slightly higher than which the $4.35m generated in the same period in 2017.
Third place went to Caesars Interactive entertainment that won $4.4m which is a significant increase from the $3.3m earned last march. Fourth place went to Resorts Digital Gaming with $4.2m and Tropicana made up fifth place with $3.7m.
