Evolution Gaming Close 2017 With a Bang
The leading live dealer casino company in the market Evolution Gaming recorded fantastic growth in 2017 as they almost doubled their profits for the year. In figures released by the Stockholm based company. Revenues for Q4 of 2017 were €50.7n which was an increase of 85% from the same period one year earlier.
The reasons for such a jump were due to “ intense” expansion and new products. Revenues for 2017 were up by 54% to €178.4m with earning recording a 81% spike to €80.6m.
CEO Martin Carlesund was delighted at the figures and referred to 2017 as “ an exceptional year in many ways”. He was careful to ensure investors that the company was not going to get complacent by taking their success for granted and would continue to work and ensure the company remains on a growth trend,
One of the main reasons for the outstanding results according to Carlesund was the “ intense expansion” of the existing live casino studios which is now in the region of around 400.
The existing studios on Riga and Bucharest were expanded and were boosted by a new Studio in Georgia that is set to launch in Q2.Carlesund is preparing investors for expected costs related to new product development that includes Evolution entering RNG games such as Lightening Roulette.
