DraftKings Partner With NBA Houston Rockets
The real money daily fantasy sports betting market has seen one of their busiest years. The two main players DraftKings and their rivals FanDuel have been on a yearlong shopping spree which included strategic acquisitions from both companies. It seems that both up DraftKings and FanDuel have their eyes firmly focused on each other’s progress as they both compete to gain more market share.
We reported on both of them receiving hefty rounds of funding which means that thy have to use this cash to prove that they are growing, DraftKings have taken over most of the competition by simply acquiring them. They have entered into multi-year contract with major sporting bodies like the NHL. Recently they became the official daily fantasy game partner for the Philadelphia 76ers. This had now been followed by another sporting partnership with the NBA team, the Houston rockets.
In term of the partnership DraftKings will have their branding appear on signage and bench areas of the team as well as promoting the team online and launching daily fantasy contests.
President of Corporate development for the Rockets, John Croley was delighted at their new partnerships and said,” The Rockets are thrilled to be one of the major cornerstone franchises aligning with DraftKings. Business Development VP for DratKings, Jeremy Elbaum was equally chuffed at their latest partnership with the Rockets. He said,” We’re looking forward to our work with the Rockets to enhance the fan experience, both in the arena and through other media, with special daily fantasy contests, programs and information.
