DraftKings Looking For Casino Partners For Sports Betting
A decision on the legalization of sports betting in the U.S. could come as early as next week. Our team have covered the legal battle that the state of New Jersey has being involved in the last few years. All eyes are on the Supreme Court to see if the current law limiting sports betting to just four U.S. states will be overturned.
The various players looking to be ready to go if and when this becomes a reality is a growing by the day. One of the leading potential players in the sports betting market could be DFS giant DraftKings who have already confirmed they are developing a sports betting product that could be enabled very soon after it becomes legal. DraftKings has gone further and has confirmed it has contacted potential casino partners in New Jersey with the aim of offering legal sports betting.
DraftKings spokesman Jason Chisholm said what many believe to be a major advantage for them and stated that DFS is “perfectly positioned to succeed in a legal sports betting market.” DraftKings has a loyal customer base of over 10 million users.
Besides New jersey there are over 19 other U.S. states that have legalized sports betting pending a ruling that will legalize it on a federal level.
