Caesars To Launch Real Money Online Poker In Nevada Under WSOP Brand
September 19 will be another day to remember in the US online gambling industry and in online poker in particular. Caesars Entertainment Corp. who are the largest owner of casinos in the US will start offering real money online poker in Nevada. They of course follow Ultimate Gaming who hold the bragging rights of being the first to offer real money online poker in Nevada way back on April 30.
Caesars online poker offering will be marketed under their World Series of Poker brand. Estimates are that online gambling in the US can reach as much as $7.4 billion by 2017 of which Nevada makes up about $400 million. Caesars are of course also looking to offer real money gambling in New Jersey later this year and as part of their expansion plans they intend selling $1.18 billion in stock in order to raise more capital.
Caesars has had a fantastic year so far with their stock more than tripling as investors seem confident that Caesars will be a major player in the US online gambling market which is growing all the time.
